Privacy Policy

1. Your images and designs

Croppy reads the frames and images you choose in your Figma file. It crops, resizes, compresses, and packages them inside the plugin window on your computer. Smart focus and Face focus run on your computer too. Face focus uses your browser’s built-in face detection where it is available. No face data is stored or sent anywhere.

Your images, designs, and exported files are never uploaded to us or to any third party.

2. What Croppy stores

On your device

Croppy keeps your trial run count in Figma’s plugin storage on your device. If you have Croppy Pro, it also keeps your license key, the activation ID from Dodo Payments, and the date the license was last checked. This information stays on your device and does not travel with your Figma files.

In your Figma file

Croppy saves its settings on each Figma page so they follow the file. These include chosen and custom sizes, crop and focus choices, export format, and file name patterns. Anyone with access to the file who runs Croppy can see these settings.

Your Figma account

Croppy asks Figma for your account ID and name. The ID keeps each person’s trial and license separate when people share a computer, and it never leaves your device. Your name is used only to label a license activation, as described below.

3. Croppy Pro licenses

Croppy connects to the internet only to manage Croppy Pro licenses with Dodo Payments:

• Activating a key sends your license key and your Figma account name. The name labels this device in the license record so you can tell your activations apart.
• Checking a key sends your license key and activation ID, at most once a day when you open Croppy.
• Removing a key from a device sends the same two values to free up that activation.

Like any web request, these also share your IP address and basic technical details with Dodo Payments. No image or file data is ever included.

4. Purchases

Croppy Pro is sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Dodo collects your payment details, email address, and billing information on its own checkout page. We never see or store your full card details.

Dodo shares with us your name, email address, billing country, what you bought, and your order and license details. We use these to deliver and support your license, process refunds, and keep the records that tax and accounting laws require. Dodo’s handling of your information is covered by the Dodo Payments Privacy Policy.

5. Support emails

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use it only to help you.

6. This website

airabuilds.com does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising. Our fonts are served from our own site. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, to keep the site secure and running.

Buttons that open the Figma Community or the Dodo Payments checkout take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

7. Figma

Croppy runs inside Figma. How Figma handles your account and files is covered by the Figma Privacy Policy.

8. How we use information

We use the limited information described above to:

• Deliver, activate, and check Croppy Pro licenses
• Enforce the device limit and prevent license misuse
• Answer support requests and process refunds
• Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except Dodo Payments as described here, or when the law requires it. Dodo Payments and our hosting provider may process information in countries other than your own.

9. How long we keep it

• Data on your device stays until you remove your license or clear Croppy’s data in Figma.
• Page settings stay in your Figma file until you change them or delete the page or file.
• Purchase records are kept while your license is active and for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
• Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to withdraw consent or object to how it is used. Email [email protected] and we will respond within the time the law requires. We may need to keep some purchase records to meet legal obligations. You can also contact Dodo Payments directly about information it holds as the merchant of record, or complain to your local data protection authority.

11. Security

Connections to Dodo Payments use HTTPS, and your license key is kept in Figma’s plugin storage on your device. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we keep the information we handle to a minimum.

12. Children

Croppy is a professional design tool and is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change affects how Croppy handles your data, we will explain it in the plugin’s update notes.
